The 4th Annual Festive Mixology is Thursday!

This Thursday is one of my favorite events of the year: Festive Mixology-A Signature Cocktail Experience, a benefit for Hiawatha Homes. I’ve been lucky enough to get to be a part of it since it started and every year it gets bigger and better! Local mixologists will be competing to create the exclusive cocktail for the Hiawatha Homes Foundation’s Festival of Trees Opening night gala. A panel of judges will pick the winner, BUT guests get to try sample-sized cocktails and guests get to choose the Most Congenial Mixologist, People’s Choice Cocktail, and Best Mocktail!  So, even if cocktails aren’t really your thing, you need to come out to try all the delicious mocktails. And if cocktails ARE your thing, make sure you catch a sober ride home with the complimentary cab rides from Yellow Cab. There will also be delicious food from Johnny Mango’s, cuz no one should drink on an empty stomach, and there is entertainment: we’ll have a mixologist on stage showing off some flair and flipping bottles just like Tom Cruise in Cocktail, and the band for the evening is SUITE!   Tickets are $30 in advance or $35 at the door and you can purchase them at www.hiawathahomes.org
