When I was a boy I looked up to Hulk Hogan and Michael Jordan.  I was the biggest Hulkamaniac in the world when I was little.  I'd say my prayers and take my vitamins and do pretty much anything else the Hulkster told me to do. Hogan took a backseat around age 10 when Michael Jordan was starting to dominate the NBA - naturally I thought I could do the same with a little training. Like most kids, I became obsessed with Jordan.  I needed a jersey, a starter jacket, shoes, Gatorade, and anything else he put his name on.

By high school I started appreciating my real hero.  My mom.  Most of my childhood she worked two jobs to pay the bills but somehow she still managed to keep the house clean and have dinner ready every night.  She never missed a school event and even when she was exhausted she'd still grab a ball to shoot hoops or play catch with me.
