‘The Freight Yard’ Is Now Open

Had a chance to check out the new "Freight Yard" (the old Beer Bellyz) and I can't wait to go back there. Every Christmas Eve we go out for a few cocktails in celebration of the holiday. This year, as a bonus, the Packers/Vikings game was on, so we made a plan to head out early and we ended up hitting the all new "Freight Yard."

This place is awesome, and certainly my new favorite hangout.

For starters, their beer selection is amazing. All kinds of choices for the craft beer lover. And to be honest, their prices were comparable for craft beer. Some even less expensive than normal, it seems.

Secondly, we had a chance to try one of their pizzas. Both my wife and I agree, it's some of the best pizza we'd ever had. Their menu is certainly going to be expanding, too.

The atmosphere and the decor is excellent, as well. It's definitely a place you'll need to check out. We also had a chance to talk with a couple of the owners and there are some pretty big plans in the works that I think everyone will love.

Definitely put it on your list of places to check out in Rochester. Certainly a great place to watch some football, too.
