“Ice Castles” in Eden Prairie Opens January 9th

We all built snowmen and snow forts when we were little and some of us were lucky enough to have an ice rink in our yard, but they were probably nothing like what Brent created.

Brent is the creator of Ice Castles. The idea started when he moved his young family from California to Utah. They got sick of being stuck indoors during the winter so he went to work on an ice rink in the back yard -- but not just any old ice rink.  His first project included a 20′ slide, an ice cave, and a castle like tower reaching 20' into Utah’s rocky mountain sky.  His children affectionately called it the “Ice Castle.”

The "Ice Castle" continued to grow and is now a major attraction in cities across the country. Each completed Ice Castle gives you 20 MILLION pounds of ice to explore.
