Looking for something silly to do this weekend?Grab your NERF gear and head to Blaine. If you don't have a NERF gun, don't worry. Hundreds will be available for you to use.

"The Great Minnesota Blaster Battles" event will be held in Blain from 1:00 to 4:00PM at the city's soccer fields. Twincities.com says the event is sponsored by a Maple Grove nonprofit called Project My Neighborhood, and is free. Donations will be accepted and go towards  bullying-prevention programs in Minnesota.

Event organizers hope to beat the Guinness World record of 2,289 participants in a Nerf battle.
