USA Today has been collecting NFL stats for a long time - rushing yards, passing yards, touchdowns, and even... arrests. They maintain a database of arrests, charges, and citations of players for everything other than traffic tickets.  The database goes back to 2000.  In that 14 year span there have been 713 player run-ins with the law that were reported by the news media.

The paper admits that it's numbers aren't 100% accurate because some situations involving less prolific players might not have been reported by the media.

To date the Minnesota Vikings have more arrests than any other team in the league.

The NY Times examines the issue in great detail in this article.
