They’re Filming a Movie in Rochester – And You Can Be In It!

Ever dreamed of being in a movie? Well, now you may just have your chance - without even having to leave town!

Rochester isn't quite Hollywood yet, but if these two guys have their way maybe it will be on its way! Avai d'Amico and Martin Burnham are shooting a short feature film right here in Rochester, and tomorrow, October 3, from 5-8 pm, they're holding auditions at C4 Creative Salon, 324 First Ave. SW. They stopped by the station to tell us more about their project and what they're looking for.

The short romantic comedy, titled "A Place to Be," will feature five lead actors, a few minor non-speaking roles and several extras for restaurant and concert scenes.
