It seriously only takes like 5 seconds to do.

Don’t you hate it when you find old batteries but you never know which battery is out?

Well that's exactly what happened last night as my wife had some of her family come over for dinner. Then before I knew it we're downstairs ready to play some tennis on our dusty old Nintendo Wii (Long story, don't ask).

But after we hooked it up to the TV and before we began playing, we dug out the controllers and wondered when the last time we'd even played our Wii because it had been at least before we moved back home from Fargo two years ago and the batteries surely had to be dead.

It was then I suggested we do the 'battery test' first before we go digging for some new ones to replace the batteries that were in the controllers already.

No one knew what I was talking about so here's the good news, with this trick you only need a couple seconds to find out which battery is dead or not. Check it out:

Anyways: Turns out all four were dead in the two controllers we had so I didn't get to show them how the batteries should land flat with no bounces. But still, give this little trick a try and you'll never have to play the guessing game ever again.
