Thursdays on First Weather Announcement

Rochester's popular Thursdays on First and Third street festival has been cancelled today because of the potentially dangerous weather that is being predicted for later this afternoon. Organizers say, "Thursdays on First & 3rd will be canceled today due to poor weather conditions. The safety of our attendees, staff, vendors, and performers is our number one priority. Thank you, and we look forward to seeing everyone at our next Thursdays on First & 3rd on June 18."

The National Weather Service is saying that 3-5 inches of rain are possible across the KROC listening area this afternoon and evening with the threat of damaging winds and hail.  We'll update the weather conditions throughout the day for you on 106.9 KROC.
