Toys ‘R’ Us Pulls Toy off Its Shelves After It Apparently Burst into Flames!

Is it wrong that my immediate thought was, "was it made by Samsung?"

In all seriousness, this is super scary!

In a year where cell phones are spontaneously combusting, sometimes during mid-flight, it's even more disturbing to see children's toys explode into flames like this, too!

A Tonka toy truck apparently burst into flames in the back of a pickup truck last Friday. And as the family returned it to the Toys 'R' Us store where they initially purchased it, the truck caught fire a second time!

The store ended up apologizing and issued a recall after giving the family a full refund. They said they will not be selling the truck again until after an investigation into the incident has been completed. There's no doubt that the incident will be a "hot topic" during this family's holiday season!
