Traffic Headaches This Weekend in Twin Cities

Twin Cities (Minnesota News Network) - Both residents and visitors can expect road construction headaches this weekend in the Twin Cities.

More people than usual could be impacted, due to all the out-of-towners for this weekend's Minnesota Twins/New York Yankees series at Target Field  and the Minneapolis Aquatennial traditional fireworks show.

The westbound lanes of I-94 will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday until at least 5 a.m. Monday between Highway 280 and I-35E.

The southbound lanes of I-494 west of Minneapolis will be closed all weekend from the Fish Lake Interchange to I-394.
