First degree murder and other charges have been filed against 22 year old Tanner Rix.

Officers found him standing near a car that was parked in the middle of a street in the town of Baldwin, Wisconsin around noon on September 9th - which is Rix’s birthday.

Police say Rix had called 911 to report a passenger in the car had been shot in the head. Officers found the body of 28 year old Angel Linderman of Lake City in the car. She was dead and an autopsy later determined she had died several hours earlier.

During Friday's hearing, the judge ordered the trial to begin July 7th in St. Croix County Court.
