Trick Play – Player Fakes His Death

I watch a lot of college football but I've never seen anything like this.  This clip is from Saturday's Arkansas St.- Miami game.   Facing a 4th down,  Arkansas St decided to run a trick play.  They called a fake punt and... had a player fake his death?!?  I've watched it a half dozen times and I'm still not sure how they expected it to work.  Miami ignored the "dead" guy and picked off the punter's pass.
