Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Two men were arrested by Rochester police in separate domestic incidents over the weekend.

The first was reported Saturday afternoon at a residence in the 1100 block of 14th St NE. Officers were told 68-year-old Robert Adler had assaulted his 62-year-old girlfriend and threatened her with a knife. Some relatives intervened and took the knife away. Adler was arrested on assault and other charges. Police say Adler was intoxicated.

The other incident also involved an intoxicated man.

Police were called to a residence in the 1500 block of 6th Ave SE around 1:30 a.m. Sunday and arrested 25-year-old Fortino Ramirez-Reyes.

A spokesman says he looked through the window of his estranged wife’s residence and saw a man sleeping on the couch. The spokesman says Ramirez-Reyes entered the residence and began assaulting the man. He is also accused of choking his wife when she intervened. He is facing assault, burglary and other charges.
