Two Arrested in Rochester Liquor Store Attack
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Two men are facing charges after police say they assaulted a Rochester liquor store employee.
Police were called to the Buckeye Liquor store located near the Government Center around 6 p.m. Saturday and were told the two left after the assault.
The employee told officers one of the men dropped a bottle of liquor he had just bought in the store’s parking lot and came back inside, demanding a free replacement. The employee refused and grabbed a baseball bat behind the counter to protect himself. But the men took it away and assaulted him. They then grabbed some liquor and fled.
Police later located the men, 25-year-old Keith Lee of Stewartville and 24-year-old Darren Brewster of Chicago, and took them into custody.
