Two Men Stabbed In Stewartville

There was a reported double stabbing in Stewartville last night. 

 A spokesman says deputies were called to an apartment building at west 105 1st street just after 11:30.

They found a man with serious stab wounds and he was taken to St. Mary’s. At last check, he had been scheduled to undergo surgery. It’s believed the man is in his 50’s.

 A 25 year old was also in the apartment and it’s believed his injuries were self inflicted. He was also taken to St. Mary’s and authorities expect him to be taken into custody when he is discharged.

It’s believed the two are roommates and the stabbing followed a dispute.
