Two Rochester Special Olympic Flag Football Teams are Headed to State
Good luck to the Rochester flag football teams that are heading to state!
This is the first year that Rochester has offered flag football for Special Olympic athletes. The Rochester Flyers Special Olympics Team serves over 250 athletes with intellectual disabilities, ages 8 and up.
The Sunday Night Flyers are made up of kids under 21, while the Tuesday Night Flyers are over 21.
According to the Rochester Flyers website, each team is capped at 16 players, at least two of which must be unified partners.
