One of the most memorable things when I first moved from the East Coast to Minnesota in High School was the last day of school. I showed up to school on that last day and there were tractors everywhere!

I'm so happy to see this tradition is still going on in Hayfield. One of the best parts about living in a small town is the individual expression our teachers encouraged and the fun that everyone has together.

Some schools get pranked on the last day of the school year. This is what happens at my alma mater, complete with tractors, trailers and even a camper cooking pancakes!  Yay Hayfield! Go Vikes!
