University President Eric Kaler says the U of M is currently working with the Minnesota Vikings and the NFL to prohibit the term "Redskins" on any of promotional materials for the Minnesota vs. Washington game scheduled for Nov. 2nd at the school's stadium.

Lester Bagley, the Vikings’ executive vice president of public affairs, says the team hasn't decided how to handle the college’s request at this time and added that more talks between the team and the school will happen between now and November.

The Vikings will be playing their home games at the school's stadium while their new home is constructed.
