Arden Hills, MN (KROC AM News) -  The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has cancelled an alert requesting the public’s help in locating a missing and endangered child.

Police say 25-year-old Nelson Soto-Lopez was being sought for questioning in connection with the death of a 21-month-old child in Blaine Tuesday. He was taken into custody during a traffic stop in Missouri Wednesday morning. With him was a 5-year-old girl he had left Minnesota with.

Soto-Lopez was described by authorities as the boyfriend of the mother of the missing girl and the dead child.
