Minneapolis  (KROC AM News) -The search for a woman who suffers from Alzheimer’s has ended as she turned up safe.

The 59-year-old was reported missing Wednesday evening after becoming separated from her family while visiting a patient at the University of Minnesota hospital. The university Police Dept says the woman uses a wheelchair to get around.

She told a family member she wanted to visit a nearby liquor store in Minneapolis before they closed. Police say video footage showed her boarding a light rail train near the U of M campus.

No word on where she spent the night.
