Wanted Man Shows Up While Police are Searching Home
A man sought by police on a number of arrest warrants was arrested on Friday after he basically delivered himself to Rochester police.
Captain John Sherwin says investigators were executing a drug related search warrant at a residence in the 1200 block of 4th street northwest Friday afternoon when a man known to the officers came to the home. After he realized the place was swarming with police, 31-year-old Cory Dozark took off running with the officers in pursuit. Captain Sherwin says Dozark even jumped into the frigid water in nearby Cascade Creek in his unsuccessful bid to avoid arrest.
