Wanted Wisconsin Man Caught in Rochester
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A man wanted by police in Eau Claire, Wisconsin in connection with an arson case was apprehended in Rochester Monday.
The 29 year old was found in a car in the 1400 block of 4th Avenue SE around 1 p.m. and taken into custody based on a Wisconsin arrest warrant. He is expected to be returned to Eau Claire.
A spokesman says the man is a suspect in a suspicious house fire that was reported Sunday afternoon. The Eau Claire SWAT team was sent to another residence where it was thought the man was hiding but he was not located. It’s not known why he travelled to Rochester.
He has been identified as Kuiiave Hodges of Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
