When grilling, do you prefer propane, natural gas or charcoal?

While that debate rages on (I mean let's face it, everybody knows charcoal is THE best) a couple of geologist students from Syracuse decided to try something... well, we'll go with different.

They decided to use LAVA to cook their steaks.  In case you didn't know (I didn't) Molten lava reaches temperatures of at least 1300 degrees Fahrenheit, which makes it a solid heat source if you need to grill up some steaks in SECONDS.

So, in under six minutes, the heavily-protected team cooked up a party's worth of t-bones, hot dogs, and even salmon steaks—including searing one hunk of steak directly on the lava itself, for students who prefer their meat "well done."

I don't recommend trying this at home.  Like ever.  Besides, how the heck did they get a hold of all that lava to begin with?!
