Watch Minnesota State Patrol Arrest Drunk Semi Driver Just in Time
The Minnesota State Patrol just shared the frightening video above on their Facebook page to warn drivers of the dangers of drunk driving.
The State Patrol Post said:
A trooper’s dash cam caught a shocking and dangerous situation earlier this year on a rural Minnesota highway.
An intoxicated semi driver is seen on camera weaving sharply, swerving into a ditch and demolishing a road sign before pulling over. The Isle, Minnesota, man was so intoxicated he fell out of the cab and could not stand for several minutes. The 45-year-old, who had a blood alcohol content of .28 and was convicted of third-degree DWI, had two bottles of vodka in the semi.
If you encounter a dangerous or impaired driver, give the vehicle space and call 911 immediately. Extra DWI enforcement is on Minnesota roads this weekend.
Samm and I participated in a controlled drinking experiment with the State Patrol earlier this year to show how quickly alcohol can alter a persons abilities.
