Wedding season is right around the corner! "Let's start our life together in a very deep hole." The average cost of a wedding, NOT including the ring OR honeymoon is nearly $30,000! Check out some other "fun" wedding facts here. 

"The average cost of a wedding remains close to $30,000, with couples spending roughly $250 per guest to attend," said Andy Whittaker, Director of Market Insights at WeddingWire.

• The average engagement ring now costs $4,758, and the average honeymoon is $3,882. And those are both on TOP of the cost for the actual wedding. So, if you include them, it jumps to over $38,000.
• The most expensive part of the actual wedding is the venue at $8,798
  • Caterer - $6,877
  • Band - $3,848
  • Photographer - $2,435
  • Rehearsal dinner - $1,935.
• The most popular month to get married is June, followed by May, September, October, and August.
• The most popular first dance song last year was "Thinking Out Loud" by Ed Sheeran.
