Co-owner Darren Groteboer told the Post Bulletin that March 31 will be the bar's final day. Groteboer said, "Our liquor license and insurance end on March 31, so that seems like a logical time to close."

The Eastgate Apartments project is expected to go to the City Council for a final vote next month. The four-story complex would have 135 units. The current plan calls for six studio units, 76 one-bedroom apartments and 53 two-bedroom units.
