Wife Gives Husband Amazing Gift For 50th Anniversary

Mike and Jan Maulsby of Clear Lake just celebrated their wedding anniversary in Rochester.  They didn't go to Chester's or Pescara.  They didn't go to a movie or to a local winery.  They chose to spend their anniversary at the Mayo Clinic.

Mike has kidney failure, and has been on dialysis for the last year.  He needed a kidney transplant and found out that his son Grant was a match, but Grant had some other health problems that made surgery a bad idea. That's when his wife Jan stepped up. She was a match too, and decided to donate her kidney last week on their 50th wedding anniversary. Mike and Jan are both already out of the hospital and doing well.

I'm not sure what Mike gave his wife but I hope it was something nice, real nice!
