Winona Man Hurt in Wreck Near Eyota (UPDATED)
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A St. Louis Park man was seriously injured Tuesday night in a three vehicle traffic wreck at the intersection of Highway 42 and Olmsted County Road 9 near Eyota.
The State Patrol says a car driven by 30 year old Ladd Gorman ran a stop sign on County 9 and collided with a pickup truck that was northbound on Highway 42. Gorman’s car spun around and collided with another vehicle. There were 5 people in that car.The State Patrol says Gorman was the only one who was hurt.
There have been numerous serious and sometimes deadly traffic wrecks at that intersection. The nearby intersection of Highway 42 and Highway 14 that has also been the scene of numerous wrecks is currently having a roundabout installed.
* State Patrol previously ID'd seriously injured man as Ernest Gorman of Winona. He is Ladd Gorman's father and owner of the car.
