Wisconsin Basketball Players Stick Up For Cheerleader With Down Syndrome

Desiree Andrews, has Down syndrome, but that hasn't stopped her from cheerleading at her school in Kenosha Wisconsin.  Recently three members of their basketball team saw some kids picking on her before a recent game.  The players walked off the court to confront the kids and tell them to stop.  Desiree described their act as, "sweet, kind, awesome, and amazing."  The school is showing their support too by officially renaming their gymnasium "D's House."  Watch the news story below.
