Wisconsin Junior High Teacher Uses 3-D Printer to Save Duck
A duck in Wisconsin named Phillip got really bad frostbite on his feet and sadly had to have them both amputated.
Phillip was adopted by Vicki Rabe-Harrison. She thought she could save him and help him through life but her efforts were unsuccessful and she thought she was going to have to put him down.
Then a junior high teacher from Osh Kosh designed two prosthetic duck feet and printed them out on a 3D printer. Phillip got his new feet and is walking and swimming again.
