Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester woman suffered a broken jaw during an altercation early Friday morning.

Rochester police learned of the violent incident after the 23-year-old woman came to the emergency room at St. Mary’s hospital seeking treatment. She told officers she was involved in a fight with several other females at a residence in the 800 block of 16th Avenue Southeast when a man joined the altercation and punched her in the face. That occurred around two or three Friday morning.

A spokesman says investigators have identified a “person of interest” in the case, but at last report, there had been no arrests.
