Women Are Better Than Men

We have an 8-month old baby that apparently wakes up in the middle of the night crying every once in awhile. I say apparently because I've never heard him. My wife thinks I'm lazy (which I am) but honestly I never hear him cry.  I used to think I was just a really deep sleeper but there might be more to it than that.

Health.com just published an article saying women are much better at hearing high-pitched noises.

Women actually have the advantage when it comes to all of the five senses.

A 2012 study showed that women see more shades of red, green, yellow, and blue.

Smaller fingertips tend to be more sensitive according to a 2009 study which means that women usually have a finer sense of touch.

Last year a study revealed that women have almost 50% more neurons in the part of the brain that controls the sense of smell.

Women have a better sense of taste too.  Researchers at Yale found that women actually have more taste buds on their tongue.
