Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A three vehicle wreck during the noon hour Friday on a busy Rochester road tied up traffic for awhile.

The wreck happened at 12:30 p.m. on South Broadway, just south of the Highway 52 overpass.

Deputy Fire Chief Steve Belau says one person was trapped in a vehicle and had to be extricated by firefighters. That person was taken to St Marys Hospital. The other three suffered minor injuries. No names or medical conditions have been released yet.

The wreck blocked all the lanes of northbound Broadway for half an hour.

The scene of the wreck has been affecting traffic for weeks because of the work on the Highway 52 overpass.
