I love food! I'm just going to go ahead and say it. It's no secret. And every time, I try something amazing, I run right to the computer to share with you. This week's "worth the drive" place is the Old Spaghetti Factory in Minneapolis.

First and foremost, my favorite thing (other than the food of course) was the amazing decor and ambiance. It's like no other place I've ever been. In fact, that's exactly what they were going for. According to their website, they "invest meticulous attention to the décor so guests feel as though they’re stepping into another world. Every location is adorned with antique lighting, intricate stained glass displays and an old-fashioned trolley car that doubles as a dining hall." It was truly beautiful!

Immediately, we were greeted with excellent service followed by the most delicious drinks. We ordered the pitcher of sangria - holy yummy! I could have finished off the pitcher by myself if I didn't have to share with my party. I also had the Blackberry pomegranate long island - I'm going to attempt to recreate that one at home, I loved it so much. And my underage sister says they have awesome non-alcoholic drinks too. She ordered the cotton candy limeade. It was topped with a huge chunk of cotton candy!

And last, but definitely not least, three... course... meals! Even if you order an entree salad, you get bread, soup, AND gelato! Is this real life? The bread was fresh and so tasty, the soup was spot-on and the noodles, oh the noodles - YUM! They actually make the noodles in-house. Two big thumbs up!

All in all, we are huge fans of the Old Spaghetti Factory now.
