Zumbrota, MN (KROC-AM News - A dozen people were injured, with several suffering life-threatening injuries, in a rollover crash near Zumbrota early today.

The State Patrol says a total of 14 people were in an extended passenger van that was headed north on Highway 52 when it left the roadway and rolled as it was approaching the Highway 60 interchange just before 2 AM. Only the driver, 41-year-old Derek Burris of Baraboo Wisconsin, and an infant passenger were not hurt.

All of the occupants of the van were from several communities in Wisconsin. The most seriously injured were identified as 40-year-old Rudy D. Gingerich and 21-year-old Rudy J. Gingerich from Blue River Wisconsin, along with 33-year-old Sarah Lambright of Pardeeville Wisconsin Minnesota.

The State Patrol says eight other people, including other members of the Lambright and Gingerich families, were transported to St. Mary's hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A 17-year-old boy was also listed among the injured but information about the extent of his injuries and his hometown have not been released.
