It's the biggest Christmas display in Rochester and it's lit up for the holiday season. Lighting the Plummer Building, like a Christmas tree, is a Rochester tradition that dates back to the 1950s. According to the Employees at Mayo Clinic Facebook page, the tree measures 128-feet tall and 138-feet wide. Over 7,000 LED lights are used to light the building. Learn more about the history of Rochester's favorite tree, here. The video below gives you a behind the scenes look at what it takes to light up the building.

Pictures don't do it justice. This is one holiday display that you have to see in person to truly appreciate. The display will be up until January 1st.
