Finally, a breath of fresh air... and no, I'm not talking about the wind either.

Before I begin, let me first say that I totally respect what Meteorologists do for a living. It can't be easy forecasting weather patterns and predicting storm totals and the like... heck, I'll eve get ripped from time to time on the air for simply reading something someone else incorrectly wrote online! "I'm just reporting what I have" is what I'll remind the caller, to which they still tell me to do a better job.

OK, sure. Because I love messing with people's weekend/travel plans! Anyways, this bring me to my point:

Yesterday morning, the NWS was calling for 2-5 inches around the Brainerd area, but then someone suddenly boosted it to 4-6 inches of snow. The reason why? "It is my first shift".

Wait, what?!

That's right, an unnamed rookie meteorologist also admitted "so it is taking some time to get a good grip on the forecast and this weather scenario."

Hey, it's Minnesota, we get it! In 24 hours the weather here could change from 20 degrees and snow to Sunny and 65. I just appreciate the honesty is all.
