I read a really impressive stat on the Rochester Polar Plunge website - This is the 19th year of the plunge, and in that time over $2.7 MILLION has been raised for Special Olympics. That's awesome. Props to everyone that's plunged! Last year 807 brave souls jumped into the icy water and raised over $234,000.

The Polar Plunge is happening this Saturday at Foster Arend in Rochester and volunteers are still needed. You don't have to dive into the water to help. Click here to sign up to help. Remember there is no on-site parking for this event, but there are free shuttles. The shuttles will run from 11:00 AM until the end of the Plunge and will pick up and drop off at Bowman Tools, The Chateau Theater, and Whistlebinkies North. Shuttles will run every 15 minutes.

Good luck to all of the plungers and thank you for supporting such an amazing organization!
