This is quite the controversy!

According to this article from the Independent, a mom shared her story about some brownies she had made for a school bake sale. Seems harmless so far, right? Well it was because of one particular ingredient she substituted that's getting all the backlash online.

She claims that when she didn’t have the milk the recipe called for, she just used her own breast milk instead... Well needless to say the Internet just isn't having it.

“I didn’t have time to run to the store,” the baking mom admits. “And didn’t think it was a big deal (some of those kids could use the nutrition to be honest.)”

Well, when other parents found out her brownies had breast milk in them, they were upset and she didn’t see what the big deal was.

Something like this is definitely a slippery slope, and I can totally see where people could be disgusted by this. I think the majority of folks would have probably liked it if she'd just ran down to the store quick instead of supplying breast milk that was meant for her own kids.

But the way people are going about this by attacking her behind their computer or phone screens is just plain wrong.

What are your thoughts on this?
