Alcohol Possibly Involved in Minivan vs Train Crash in Rochester

Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Rochester Police responded this morning to a traffic crash involving a train.
A police spokesperson says no one was injured in the collision between a Canadian Pacific Railway locomotive and a minivan. Law enforcement radio transmissions indicated the caller reporting the crash suspected the driver of the minivan was intoxicated.
The crash was reported about 10:45 AM at a crossing adjacent to the Pawn America Store just off South Broadway near the former AMPI plant. Additional information concerning the incident is expected to be released by the police department this afternoon.
