Get set for the return of the amazing Minnesota Food Truck Festival, back this July and happening a little over an hour from Rochester!

It's baaack! The great Minnesota Food Truck Festival has announced that after taking last year off due to (stop me if you're heard this one already)... the pandemic... it's coming back bigger and better here in 2021. And, it'll go down just a little over an hour from Rochester.

Actually, there are TWO food truck festivals on the docket for this summer in the Land of 10,000 Lakes, with the first one set for Saturday, July 17th from 11 am to 9 pm at the Union Depot parking lot in St. Paul. (Which is about an hour and 15 minutes north of Rochester, just off Highway-52 in St. Paul.)

The St. Paul Food Truck Festival page notes just what's in store for this year's festival:

We will be showcasing over 50 superstars of the local streets with dishes ranging from crispy pork belly and green papaya salad to gourmet mini doughnuts and wood-fired pizzas. Wash it all down with a hefty variety of local craft brews and classic favorites, plus ciders and non-alcoholic drinks as well.

Plus, there will also be live music from multiple bands, as well as games and giveaways for the whole family, including giant Connect 4, bags and Hammerschlagen. And, if your schedule is already booked on July 17th, never fear-- there's a second Minnesota Food Truck Festival scheduled too.

The Anoka Food Truck Festival is set for its fourth year in downtown Anoka, on Saturday, August 21st from 12 to 10 pm. And, here's the best part: admission is FREE for both events!

And while you sure CAN bring your furry friend with you to either of these great events, there are several foods you'll want your dog to AVOID at your cookouts this summer. Keep scrolling to see which ones they are!
