Chuck & Don's is a pet store chain that sells pretty much everything you could ever need for your dog, cat, bird, or other small animal. They carry a huge selection of foods, toys, and pet apparel and have 33 locations in Minnesota.

Many loyal customers are concerned about the store's future this evening after the store's parent company announced it was filing for bankruptcy. According to Pet Product News, Pet Partners Holdings actually owns multiple brands including Loyal Companion, Chuck & Don’s, Natural Pawz and Kriser’s.

The company, which has more than 150 stores across the country, dropped the bankruptcy news on Monday.

The other Minnesota locations appear to be safe for now.

Fox 9 published a statement from the company that said, "For the stores that will be included in the sale process, day-to-day operations will continue as usual, with no interruption."

Company officials said Chuck and Don's "will continue to provide retail and online customers with healthy, high-quality food products and treats and a range of pet services, including grooming, self-wash, pet parent education, and veterinary services."

Rochester's Chuck & Don's is located in the Barlow Plaza at 1117 6th St NW.
