Area Man Survives 25 Foot Fall on Concrete

A man who fell 25 feet onto a concrete floor was reported in fair condition at St. Mary’s today.

The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Department says 44 year old Jason Maas was working on the roof of a neighbor’s barn last Friday when he fell from the scaffolding. He was airlifted to the hospital.

The accident happened at a farm located in the 13000 block of County Road 11, which is just north of Potsdam.
