Minnesota Stores With the Best Black Friday Deals
Even though Black Friday is no longer a one-day fiasco filled with people pushing each other to get a good deal on a TV, there are still some great deals out there that you can snag.

Black Friday Isn't What it Used to Be
Yes, not having people throw fists and yell at each other while employees cower in a corner is definitely for the best. But there's just something about the chaos of how Black Friday shopping used to be that I kind of miss.
I've only gone Black Friday shopping a couple of times in my life. It was crowded, there were so many people, and it was kind of awesome. I'm probably insane, but I think it's the novelty of the day that made it fun to me.
But now we don't have that anymore because Black Friday deals go on for a month. Again, probably a way better situation, but I can still get nostalgic about shopping in the middle of the night/wee hours of the morning.

The Best Places for Black Friday Deals in Minnesota
That being said, there are still some spots around Minnesota that are offering up some great deals so you can get gifts for everyone, PLUS a little something for yourself.
WalletHub looked at some of the biggest stores across the US to rank the best places to shop for a good deal on Black Friday. There are 13 in total on their list, and 8 of them have locations in Minnesota.
So where can we go to get these amazing deals?
Lowest on the list is Costco, where WalletHub found an average Black Friday discount of 15.08% on items.
Next is Walmart, with an average discount of 28.54%.
Best Buy comes in just barely ahead of Walmart, with an average Black Friday discount of 28.58%.
At Target, their average discount is 29.36%.
Next is Home Depot, who will have an average of 35.63% off for Black Friday deals.
Macy's is one of your best options for getting good deals on Black Friday, with an average discount of 44.46% this year.
Kohl's is next, with 45.39% off on average.
And taking the top spot (in the country and in Minnesota) for the best Black Friday deals is JCPenney, with an average of 74.08% off this year. I'd get up early after Thanksgiving for a deal like that!
