Where Did Total Wine Begin?
Total Wine was started by two brothers in 1991 as a small store in Deleware. They have a passion for wine and "are committed to offering the nation's best wine selection".
And if you're familiar with Total Wine, you'll know they have a lot more than wine too. On their website, they say that each store has 8,000+ wines, 3,000+ spirits, and 2,500+ beers.
Total Wine has now grown to "275 superstores across 29 states".
New Total Wine Opens in Rochester, Minnesota
The big grand opening was this past weekend with deals and samplings. It's nice to have one in town now because I know if there's a random liquor I'm looking for, I likely can find it there.
My husband and I stopped by over the weekend and were just browsing. While we were there I noticed a tiny little note on one of the shelves that made me stop. Of all of the times I've been to different Total Wine locations, I had never noticed a sign like this.
It's a very useful piece of information if you're looking to save some money, so I wanted to pass on to you what I found!
How to Make Sure You Get the Best Deal at Total Wine
We were crouching down looking at something that caught our eye when I noticed this sign by the price tag of one of the items.
The sign said, "Prices ending in '7' best in market pricing. No further discounts available."
As we were walking around the rest of the store I didn't notice any more of those signs, but I also wasn't looking terribly hard. It makes me think that I was lucky to happen upon this information, though, so I wanted to make sure you knew about it as well!
Now you know, if you want to make sure you're getting the best deal at Total Wine, looking for pricing ending in '7', for example, $19.97. Then you know you're getting a good price!
