SE Minnesota Business in Danger of Closure Due to Proposed Powerline Project
There a small business in Southeast Minnesota that may need to close because of a big powerline project that has been proposed. The proposal would put a giant powerline right in their growing field and totally destroy their business.
Bleed Heart Floral in Mazeppa in Danger of Closing
The small business is called Bleed Heart Floral in Mazeppa. They've done floral arrangements for countless wedding and other events and they also do an annual CSA program.
But all of the owner, Allie, and her family's hard work could go away in an instant because of this proposed project.

Gopher to Badger Link Project
It's called the Gopher to Badger Link transmission line project. It's a big project that is "being proposed to deliver reliable power to homes, farms and businesses across the region, strengthen the electric grid and facilitate access to new energy sources."
That's great and all, but you're willing to put a small business out of business in order for this to happen?
How to Stop Gopher to Badger Link Project From Closing Bleed Heart Floral
Thankfully, there's still time to stop this proposal and get the planned route moved.
There will be some open houses coming up at the beginning of May where people can come and ask questions/voice concerns over the proposal. If people are able to show up and express their sadness/anger/etc. that the plan right now is to go straight through someone's hard work and small business, hopefully we can get the route changed.
Here are the dates, times, and locations of the open houses. Let's help save this small business.
