This Rochester Pumpkin Spice Latte Puts Starbucks to Shame

It's pumpkin spice season, and PSLs are everywhere. Anyone who loves them has gotten at least one by now at their local Starbucks, and local coffee shops everywhere are coming out with their own versions.

If you're a big fan of the Starbucks PSL, I'm going to make you shake in your boots: the Starbucks PSL isn't that good. There, I said it. However! There's a pumpkin spice latte that's only made in Rochester, MN that is WAY better.

I will give props to Starbucks for their pumpkin cold foam drink that they have this time of year, though, that's really delicious.

Cafe Steam in Rochester, MN Has the Best Pumpkin Spice Latte

Yes, if you know me, you know I'm a big Cafe Steam fan, I talk about them quite a bit (in fact, I'm writing this while drinking a PSL at Cafe Steam).

Here's the thing about Cafe Steam's PSL: they use spices in their drink instead of all of the sweetness that's in the Starbucks PSL. It's warm (physically and metaphorically from the spices) and, to me, it tastes how a pumpkin spice latte should.

Pumpkin Spice Latte Now Available at Cafe Steam in Rochester, MN

When Cafe Steam announced the return of their PSL, they mentioned that their drink is made with "superior house made syrup blending all of your favorite fall spices". It's even been dubbed the 'World's Best Pumpkin Spice' by one of their regulars named Craig.

I second that, Craig, Cafe Steam's PSL is above and beyond other PSLs, including the one at Starbucks.

The pumpkin spice latte at Cafe Steam will only be available until Thanksgiving, so try it out and get your fill before then!
