Tailgate Toss isn't your ordinary cornhole tournament. It's a heartfelt endeavor dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of deserving youth. The entry fee of $200 per two-person team serves as a contribution to sending campers to the 2024 Wheelchair Camp. What is the Chris Norton Foundation Wheelchair Camp in Southeast Minnesota?

Located not too far from Rochester, Minnesota, Ironwood Springs Christian Ranch is the home of the Chris Norton Foundation Wheelchair Camp.  This is a free week-long camp for youth and families who have faced physical challenges.  This is a place where they come together as a community and have phenomenal personal growth.

Throughout the week, children and their families partake in a wide array of activities, from thrilling horseback riding and zip lining to heartwarming campfires and energetic dance parties. These experiences are thoughtfully designed to foster a sense of unity, resilience, and personal growth.

Chris Norton's journey serves as a powerful reminder of the camp's mission. In 2010, as a freshman on the Luther College football team, a life-altering play left Chris with just a 3 percent chance of regaining movement below his neck. He was flown to Mayo Clinic for surgery and to begin his physical rehabilitation. Undeterred, Chris defied the odds and embarked on a remarkable path of recovery and personal growth. His story is a testament to resilience and the belief that life is about what you can do, not what you can't.  - Chris Norton Wheelchair Camp
