Cori Kennedy Gets Emotional Over K-M Schools’ ‘Cori Kennedy Day’
You made Cori Kennedy cry! Country singer and Kasson-Mantorville, MN native, Cori, is a contestant on The Voice right now (in case you somehow didn't know that already), and she shared an emotional video this morning because of something that kids at K-M Schools did today.
As Cori says in her video, "You've made rough and tough Cori into a big old softy today."

Kasson-Mantorville, MN Schools Declare Today 'Cori Kennedy Day'
Last week, K-M Schools announced that Tuesday, October 28th would be Cori Kennedy Day. They encouraged students to dress in their cowgirl and cowboy attire and show their love and support to Cori as she competes on The Voice.
Cori says that she saw the post from K-M announcing this day, and she thought it was super nice. She didn't, however, think that so many kids would participate.

But this morning, she saw pictures and videos of kids from elementary through high school who had dressed up and couldn't believe it. She said she saw that there were school buses filled with kids all dressed up as cowboys and cowgirls, all for a day celebrating her. How amazing is that!
"I'm a mess. It's not even 9 AM and I'm a mess," Cori said in her video.
She writes:
I can’t help but cry happy tears. I’m so grateful, honored, and feel so loved 🖤
Thank you, Kasson-Mantorville for all the love and the tiny reminder that dreams really can start in a small town.
